We are excited to announce that our new 6700 square foot addition is approaching its completetion!! This new facility will allow us to offer expanded services and will give us the room to restructure our shop flow and make it more efficient from items being brought in to the finished product. Goodwin Competition will be better equipped to handle all of your racing engine needs and will be able to supply you with plenty of horsepower.

Along with our CNC programming and development upgrades, we have a complete inspection & CMM room. We have also purchased a new Newen Countour Fixed Turning Machine for our Cylinder Head Development and operations.

We will also be adding another Engine Dyno, an automotive chassis dyno and moving our motorcycle dyno on site.

Goodwin Competition was established in 1984. Our early years were spent on developing cylinder heads, intake manifolds and camshaft combinations. By the summer of 1986, our 440 powered super stock Dodge Dart ran two-tenths under the national record at Indianapolis Raceway Park. The 'Dodge test car" was sold and the business expanded. Understanding that our customers wanted more than just breathing packages, a complete machine shop evolved. With a relentless pursuit of perfection our engines not only dominate the industry, but they make a statement everywhere they appear. During that time almost sixty percent of our business went to other privately contracted engine builders. In 1999 our new facility was under way and we installed a new DTS Power Mark Dyno.
